What is NISD

NISD is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The institute is located in the capital city of Delhi. The course is of two months and three batches are fixed for this. The first batch is to start from January, the second batch from March and the third batch from March end. The rules of reservation decided by the government in admission apply. Eligibility for admission: For admission to this certificate course of NISD, the applicant must have at least seventh pass. The age limit is 18 to 30 years. You know how to read newspapers, drug labels and temperatures. Apart from this, you should also have patience and service towards the elderly.

What is the Process

The main basis for admission to NISD will be group discussion and personal interviews. The interview for the first batch was held on January. The second batch will be interviewed on February and the third batch will be interviewed on March. There are 40 seats in the course and no fee has been kept for this course at the moment.
